Can't wait until it is FAA certified, the rotary engine will make the piston engines obsolete! However, be prepared to run into road blocks by piston engine companies, because they do not want competition.
I had a 1993 Madza RX-7 with a 13b 2-rotor engine, twin turbo chargers putting out in excess of 310 hp! I'll like to put one of these 3 rotor engine into my car.
Wish your company well, because these engines will make flying affordable again...no need to purchase expensive aviation fuel. Just make sure to support the first aircraft production as the FAA will be looking for reliable data.
Learn from Mazda when they first produced the FD car models, the dealership technicians was not trained to fix problems. As reliable as the Rotary engine is, it's the technical support that failed to support this high performance car and give it a bad reputation which resulted in poor sales to the US that stopped in 1995, only three years since the first one sold in 1993!
I believe, since Maxda ceased making any more 13b rotary engines for RX-7's, which is very popular in several countries, can your company make a less complicated one for this market? It will give your company an extra niche to expand your business and provide more data to support your products.
