If you've ever been to Oshkosh and its annual EAA AirVenture event, you'll know why we get so excited about the last week in July... quite simply it's the place where all the best in aviation is seen first, from firms as varied as global airline giants, to tiny backyard operations.
And so far 2010 has proved no exception: from a new Bose headset (the first in 12 years - and what a corker it is), to a new manufacturer, Cobalt, showing off its ambitious Co50 grand tourer. All par for the course for a single day at the world's biggest aviation event.

As one of the best airshows in the world it is really difficult to "cherry-pick" a representative overview. Well done LOOP, for catching the atmosphere, providing really great camera shots and covering a wide spectrum of the industry.
