Firecrest is a small, friendly club which began life at Leavesden airfield. We offer a full range of training courses for the general aviation pilot, and sice 1984, our highly experienced instructors have taken students from their first flight, through to their Private Pilots Licence and beyond. Taxying out with the pitot cover still firmly attached, its remove before flight ribbon fluttering merrily in the wind.

I fly from Elstree with Firecrest and agree with everything said! I gave up trying to persuade the unfriendly Cabair girl behind the counter to give me some info on learning to fly and ended up in Firecrest. A day later I started my PPL - passed in 2007 - and I'm still there flying 172s.
