LOOP SHOW – DEC 10 by LOOP

THE skies are low and the airfield access roads iced up or snowbound... welcome to winter.

Of course, while waiting for the cloudbase to reach something more acceptable, there are a hundred other things to be doing in the run up to Christmas... like watching the end of year LOOP Show of course!

This month's episode proves that whatever the time of year there's no let up in the great things happening in the world of aviation, as we get two of the most recognisable men in world aviation on the show.

Rotary royalty Dennis Kenyon joins us for a look at the Rotorway 162F kit-build helicopter, and helps answer the question 'What is the cheapest way to own a helicopter...?'.

Elsewhere, the great Andy Green – the man who drove through the sound barrier in the Thrust SSC – gives us an amazing insight into the forces he is preparing himself for to crack the 1000mph barrier in the Bloodhound rocket car. How does he do that you ask? Dave Rawlings finds out.

And of course, as 2010 draws to a close, we have a look at the best of the year too!
Enjoy the show, and have a great Christmas and New Year!
