Another interesting day, and a nice touch with the readers'/viewers' questions. But the potential demise of AVGAS is coming more to the fore and must begin to worry some folks a lot about the future. Who is prepared to forecast a strategy for GA from microlights to warbirds when the "big boys" (politicians and oilmen) see an easy way out and axe AVGAS sooner, rather than later.

Bear in mind it is not Avgas as such that is under threat, just lead-containing versions. I am sure that appropriate high octane unleaded will become universally available and replace it.
