A big welcome back to EAA AirVenture Oshkosh, and have we got a cracking first day show for you. First up, British Hero and adventure sports legend Sir Richard Branson makes his debt on the LOOPTV show to give us some inside information on the the Virgin Galactic programme and the arrival of the fascinating Virgin Mothership, WhiteKnight Two.
Next up, the amphibious ICON A5 made a demo flight round the Oshkosh circuit so we took the chance to catch up with boss Kirk Hawkins on the developments in flight testing.
And finally, for all those gadget conscious aviators, we get a demo of the brand new Bendix/King AV80R Ace, a smashing bit of kit for a reasonable price tag.

I was lucky enough to be there - what an incredible sight to see the Virgin Galactic Mothership 'Eve' arrive overhead. I wonder if they transport the special triangular towbar inside, or if that needs to be sent ahead.
